I cannot open my *.odt files in openoffice after I changed my system from openoffice to ms 2000. I cannot open certain *.odt files in openoffice also. When opened in ms 2000 a lot of string like characters a appearing! So I tried opening them in openoffice itself.I tried in every pc where there is openoffice. But an error message saying that the file that is corrupt is seen. When I give it to repair it the files are opening blank. But when I don’t choose to repair the file a list “Filter Selection” is coming. Please help me.

The software suggested here is quite good, but, I found one of the software which relatively seemed much more promising, its name was Remo Recover (Windows)
