Did you face this problem often?
If it does, I would suggest you to sent your laptop for repair.
Try to go back to the shop where you had bought your laptop and opinions or suggestion from them.
If you face this problem when ever you play your laptop for a long period. Try to get a cooler for your laptop as it helps to decrease the chances for your laptop to overheat.

Hey, I just read your comment back to Jay about your friend whose laptop has stopped detecting the harddisk after he plays games with both the power cord and the battery, and I think that has happened to me. Is there anyone I can fix this problem without sending in my laptop to be repaired?

Using battery and power cord at the same time will causes the rise of temperature of your laptop.
My opinion, use the power cord without the battery…
I have a friend playing games with laptop and he’s using power cord and battery at the same time. After sometime, the laptop can’t detect the harddisk and causes the laptop to shut down automatically

hey i was just wondering if your using the laptop with battery and power cord at the same time is that ok ? or should i just use the power cord without battery does it make any differences?
